How we set it up
- A door-by-door access map built at the walk-through with your facilities or security contact: every room classified as unescorted, escorted, or excluded
- Named badge holders - a specific short list of crew members cleared for the building, not whoever is on shift
- A signed access and confidentiality agreement, plus criminal record checks on anyone with after-hours access, provided before keys or badges are issued
- Do-not-touch rules in writing: benches, whiteboards, sample racks, anything with a tag on it, cables, test setups, and any surface your team marks
- Escort scheduling for restricted rooms - typically a weekly or monthly pass with your staff present rather than nightly
- Product restrictions where they exist: no aerosols near optics or sensitive equipment, no solvents near coated surfaces, controlled-static considerations around electronics, and safety data sheets on file for anything used in the space
What we actually do in technical space
Floors, waste, recycling and e-waste bins to the building's stream, glass and door panels, touch points, and the shared corridors, kitchens, washrooms and meeting rooms that serve the technical areas. Bench tops, equipment surfaces and instrument enclosures are cleaned only where your team has explicitly asked and specified the method. Server rooms are usually floor-and-waste only, with no liquids, and are scheduled rather than done on every pass.
Light manufacturing and assembly
For the smaller production and assembly units in this corridor, the scope adds hard floor scrubbing on a machine, aisle and dock-area sweeping, locker rooms, lunch rooms, and washroom service on a heavier frequency than an office. Anything involving process waste, chemicals or machinery is your team's - we scope around it and put the boundary in writing.

Will the same people be in our building every night?
Yes. Buildings with restricted areas get a fixed, named crew - that is the whole point. If someone is off, you are told who is covering before the shift, not after.
Can you work under our own security or NDA paperwork?
Yes. Most R&T Park and Northfield tenants have their own access agreement, NDA and visitor policy. We sign yours. If you also need record checks, WSIB clearance and proof of insurance on file, that comes to the first meeting.
Do you clean server rooms?
Floor and waste only, dry, on a scheduled pass with your approval - no liquids, no touching racks, cables or equipment. Anything beyond that belongs to your IT team or a specialist.
